Infoblox and Genians partner to optimize cybersecurity at the edge

North Andover, Mass. – February 24th, 2020 – Genians, a leader of Next-Gen Network Access Control (NAC) empowered by Device Platform Intelligence (DPI), today announced a strategic technology partnership with Infoblox, the industry leader in secure, cloud-managed network services.

A recent IBM Security Report on ‘security sprawl’ noted that corporate cybersecurity teams use, on average, more than 80 security products from 40 different vendors across their networks. The report also found that teams use less than 20 percent of the features in these tools, which may not provide the outcomes customers expect due to their expensive and complicated integration.

No doubt that the role of NAC with DPI is increasingly critical in the IoT era.

Infoblox and Genians partnered to solve these challenges by maximizing the usage of security events and logs, thereby automating cybersecurity risk mitigation:

• Genians DPI shares in real-time the most accurate platform information of all IP-enabled devices connected to the network and holistically correlates technology-specific software (OS, Patches) with business context (EOL, EOS) and risk-related information (CVE) without disturbing existing IT operations.
• Infoblox shares IP- and DNS-related security alerts with Genians.
• Genians can immediately lockdown any compromised devices and block malicious attacks reported by Infoblox, and can automatically remediate them.
• No additional plugins or licenses are required.
